How to be a good nanny

Parents now are turning to nannies, to care for their children while they go to work. Nanny is the most rewarding career, but sometimes it could be stressful and difficult. Nurturing someones children it not easy, so be aware what the parents want.

Steps to be a good nanny:

Good family- first you need to find a good family that you share the same values, it is important because you wanna make it sure that you will be treated fairly. Once you accepted the job you wanna be happy because I believe if you're happy in this job, you will do great as a nanny. Some families even treat you as part of their family, their out there!

Right age- make sure that your gonna be comfortable at their age, some nannies prefer infant some don't. Different stages, different needs you need to remember that. So look for the right age for you, anyway any ages is adorable!

Cook- Nanny job require basic cooking, preparing meals and snack is part of your job. Involve the kids especially in baking this could be fun activities for you guys.

Discipline- This is very important, your hire as a nanny to nurture and care for the children. Some kids act inappropriate behavior, but they don't mean that. You need to remember that their only kids, their experimenting things. But that doesn't mean that they can get away with it or just gonna ignore it. They need to be corrected. Give them time out or send them in their room, ask them to think what they did. After 2 Min's or so, call them and ask "why you send them in their room?" When they answer, explain what they did wasn't very nice. There kids but their smart!  Ask them to apologize then give them hugs and tell you love them, but your not happy for what they did.

Interact with the kids- children is fun! Play with them, be creative, read the books, take them to the park, library and go treasure hunt in the trail. This are some of the fun things you can do with them, you'll be surprise you gonna enjoy it too. Best part, time goes so fast!

Talk to the parents- parents are working most of the day, they wanna know what their children accomplishment for the whole day. Tell them what you did the whole day, if they have fun, misbehave or they get hurt. That doesn't mean they don't trust you.

They're your kids now too- when you accepted the job, you already accepted all the responsibility as their parent. You are the parents while the parents are out, so there your kids. You want the best for them, so help them learn things, be goofy and talk to them. Love and be proud of them, encourage and comfort them. Isn't that's what parents do, there already part of you.

The most rewarding part of being a nanny is to be love by the children, and they will remember you even they grown. They will appreciate everything you've done for them. If other people give you compliment how good the children are, be prove to yourself. That means your good nanny.
